Anyone else get sticker shock when they started pricing this stuff out? I'm in Sharjah at the moment and trying to get a rental property in Palo Alto updated, and the first quote I got back nearly made me fall off my chair. It was around 85k for a mid-range kitchen and bathroom, which is way more than I had in my head. I stumbled on kitchen bath palo alto while trying to sanity check the numbers and it made me realize I have zero clue what a
professional kitchen and bath renovation in Palo Alto should cost in 2025. Is 85k actually reasonable for both rooms or is that on the high side? I know the Bay Area is expensive but I'm not there to walk around and get a feel for things, so I'm relying on forums and websites. If you've had work done recently, would you mind sharing what you paid and what was included? I'm not trying to cheap out, just don't want to agree to something I'll regret because I can't easily visit the site or push back face to face.
