Arrowfield Estate

Australia

Upper Hunter Valley

You will find Arrowfield Estate in the Upper Hunter Valley, approximately two and a half hours drive north of Sydney. The home property, vineyards, winery and cellar door are sandwiched between two famous neighbours - Coolmore and Darley Horse Studs, this is countryside boasting an eclectic mix of some of life’s delights. We are found across the beautiful ridge between the two studs and overlook a glorious part of the valley with views beyond to the Doyles Range & Martindale Range in Wollemi National Park.

For those coming from the Lower Hunter/Pokolbin a 45 minute drive brings you to our door where we offer wines dedicated both to the Hunter and further afield from our viticultural partners in premium regions of Australia.

The Arrowfield Estate winery has a large capacity to store juice and crush grapes. Storage and maturation includes stainless steel tanks, each equipped with the latest cooling and fermentation systems and a generous quantity of French and American oak barrels. There is also a climatically controlled cellar for the aging of 20,000 cases. In addition to our technological and oenological facilities we maintain rigid laboratory and quality control procedures. The modern laboratory is capable of undertaking complex and highly accurate measurement and tests at all stages of the winemaking process.

Over the years Arrowfield Estate has achieved outstanding success at National and International wine shows, winning over 35 trophies, 153 Gold medals, 305 Silver medals, 820 Bronze medals.

In 2006 Arrowfield Estate merged with the Mornington Peninsula’s largest independently owned wine company, Red Hill Estate, and together they trade under the name of "The InWine Group Australia".

The new company will produce a full range of wines, from high-quality premium labels to volume-driven products using contract growers where appropriate. Brenton Martin, CEO says "There are great synergies between the two wineries which will allow us to make better wines more efficiently, making us more competitive at all price points".
